Introduction
This advanced 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Clackamas, Oregon is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The hospital has more than 30 veterinarians across general practice, emergency, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, oncology, critical care, surgery, neurology and internal medicine, providing extensive opportunities for collaboration on complex cases.

Working Hours / Rota
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available within this 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. The Neurologist will work as part of a large multidisciplinary clinical team, with round-the-clock emergency and critical care providing additional support for complex and hospitalised patients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Neurologist, you’ll diagnose and manage patients presenting with complex neurological conditions, developing appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans while collaborating closely with specialists across surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, critical care, oncology and other disciplines. You’ll have access to advanced imaging and hospital resources to support detailed neurological investigations and ongoing case management, alongside opportunities for collaborative case discussion, teaching and continued professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is a 27,000-square-foot emergency and specialty referral facility with more than 30 veterinarians across a broad range of clinical disciplines. The facility includes 20 examination rooms, five surgical suites, CT, MRI, C-arm fluoroscopy, an on-site blood bank, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, advanced endoscopy equipment and capabilities for parenteral nutrition. This extensive clinical infrastructure supports advanced neurological care while allowing close collaboration across emergency, critical care and multiple specialist services.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
