Introduction
Our client is a multi-specialty and emergency veterinary hospital hiring a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Internist to join their dedicated and collaborative team. As the only facility of its kind in the state, the hospital delivers advanced care in a supportive environment that values excellence, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture. The hospital treats small animals and is known for its strong internal collaboration between emergency clinicians and veterinary specialists.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Thursdays, it is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Fridays from 6:00 PM to midnight. Shift patterns are designed with work-life balance in mind, and the hospital supports flexible working arrangements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The internist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing complex internal medicine cases within a collaborative specialty and emergency care setting. Responsibilities include working closely with technicians and support staff, mentoring team members, and contributing to ongoing improvement of clinical services. This role requires a DVM or equivalent degree, an active veterinary license, and DEA registration. Candidates must be either board-certified or residency-trained in internal medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital spans 8,500 square feet and is equipped with advanced diagnostics and treatment technology, including a CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasound, intensive and oxygen units, a ventilator, in-house laboratory capabilities, and a full pharmacy. Services offered include emergency care, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and critical care, within a facility that prioritizes cutting-edge medicine and high-quality patient outcomes.

Team
The hospital is staffed by three DVMs and a team of veterinary professionals, including board-certified specialists. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
