Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Internist on either a full-time or part-time basis. This specialty referral hospital provides advanced care for cats as well as dogs, and is looking for a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Internist to expand its Internal Medicine team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Internist, you will join an established Internal Medicine department and work alongside fellow specialists to deliver advanced diagnostic and medical care. Your clinical responsibilities include internal medicine consultations, ultrasound, CT imaging, video otoscopic procedures, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and specialty diagnostic testing. You will collaborate closely with specialists across multiple disciplines while contributing to a culture that values teamwork, mentorship, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care. This opportunity is suited to experienced veterinarians who are residency-trained or board-certified.

Practice Details
This specialty referral hospital provides specialty, emergency, and urgent care services in a collaborative environment. The hospital offers specialty services including internal medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, rehabilitation, neurology, and oncology. The Internal Medicine department currently consists of two board-certified Veterinary Internists. Advanced diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound, CT imaging, video otoscopic services, endoscopy, colonoscopy, intradermal allergen screening, and additional specialty testing. The Surgery Service is led by a board-certified surgeon and provides soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgery, while the Emergency Department provides consultation support during evenings, Fridays, and weekends. Therapeutic laser procedures are also available for treatment and rehabilitation. Internal Medicine appointments are available Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Surgery operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Cardiology is available Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
