Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established veterinary practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. With a loyal client base, strong referral relationships, and a compassionate, collaborative environment, this role offers the opportunity to step into a thriving caseload and make an immediate impact while continuing the tradition of exceptional patient care.
Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position with no after-hours requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats, including wellness services, dentistry, surgery, and advanced diagnostics. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing treatment plans, performing procedures, and collaborating with both the internal team and referring veterinarians to ensure the highest standards of patient care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with opportunities for mentorship, continuing education, and professional growth.
Practice Details
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, including ultrasound and endoscopy, as well as an in-house pharmacy. Services offered include pet wellness care, dentistry, microchipping, surgery, and preventive medicine. The culture is supportive and team-focused, encouraging collaboration, medical autonomy, and professional development.
Team
The practice has seven DVMs supported by a skilled and dedicated support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
