Our client is a specialty veterinary hospital seeking a Veterinary Internist to join their well-established and collaborative team in Plymouth Meeting, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to practice advanced internal medicine within a multispecialty environment that has been trusted by the Greater Philadelphia community for over 60 years. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position, with the hospital open for appointments seven days a week. The schedule offers structured hours within a supportive and well-staffed specialty environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Internist will provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients with complex medical conditions. Working collaboratively with board-certified specialists across multiple departments, this role involves case consultation, long-term management of internal medicine patients, and coordination of care within a referral-based setting. Both board-certified and residency-trained candidates are encouraged to apply, as the position supports both established specialists and those completing advanced training.

Practice Details
This hospital operates as a multispecialty and emergency center, offering a full complement of services including neurology, ophthalmology, surgery, emergency and critical care, advanced imaging, cardiology, and primary care integration. The facility is AAHA-accredited and equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools such as digital fluoroscopy, CT, radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Additional features include an ICU and isolation suites, a fully integrated EMR system, and a highly trained technical support team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Team
The hospital team includes 24 DVMs, comprising board-certified specialists, emergency clinicians, and experienced support staff. The workplace culture emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and mutual respect, creating an environment where medical excellence and teamwork thrive.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
