Job Description
Introduction
This established multi-specialty and emergency referral hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist to join its growing Internal Medicine team. With 34 veterinarians, including specialists across multiple disciplines, the hospital provides a highly collaborative environment supported by advanced technology and a strong commitment to clinical excellence. As part of a veterinarian-owned organisation, you’ll have the opportunity to practise alongside experienced specialists while helping manage a diverse and rewarding referral caseload.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Internist, you’ll provide advanced diagnostic and medical care for complex referral cases while working closely with specialists in surgery, neurology, oncology, emergency and critical care, cardiology, radiology, anaesthesia, and other disciplines. You’ll collaborate on multidisciplinary case management, communicate closely with referring veterinarians and clients, and contribute to the continued growth of the Internal Medicine service within a hospital focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
