Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Internist to join its specialty team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital is a well-established referral center that has served the community for more than 25 years. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist looking to practice alongside a collaborative team of specialists.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Internist, you will diagnose and manage complex diseases affecting dogs and cats while working closely with specialists in surgery, oncology, neurology, critical care, cardiology, and emergency medicine. You will utilize advanced diagnostics to investigate complex and chronic conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and build strong relationships with referring veterinarians and pet owners. The role requires a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist who is passionate about delivering compassionate patient care, collaborating within a multidisciplinary specialty environment, and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced referral setting.

Practice Details
The hospital is open 24 hours a day and has been providing specialty and emergency veterinary care for over 25 years. The practice offers advanced diagnostic equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, advanced laboratory testing, CT imaging, minimally invasive procedures, and specialized therapeutic options. Internal medicine services focus on diagnosing and managing complex, chronic, and multi-system diseases while working collaboratively with in-house cardiology, oncology, surgery, and emergency services to provide coordinated patient care.
