This state-of-the-art facility is the only hospital in the state offering 24/7 General Practice and Emergency services, equipped with cutting-edge technology, including CT, MRI, electrochemotherapy, and more. While the hospital primarily treats small animals such as dogs and cats, it also sees some exotic patients, encouraging veterinarians to explore and develop their interests in other species. The hospital provides a wide range of services, including full orthopedic care, Eastern Medicine such as holistic and acupuncture treatments, advanced surgery, rehabilitation with underwater treadmills, and reproduction services, making it an ideal place for veterinarians to expand their skills.
With modern equipment such as digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, lasers, in-house IDEXX labs, and an electronic record system (Cornerstone), the hospital offers a highly advanced working environment. Additionally, two fully equipped radiology areas and five surgical suites support the high demand for specialty services like orthopedics, internal medicine, and oncology. The hospital provides all the resources needed for professional growth in these high-demand fields.
With over 80 support staff members, including experienced veterinary technicians and assistants, ensuring a 4:1 support staff ratio. This collaborative and supportive environment allows veterinarians to focus on delivering excellent patient care. New graduates are encouraged to apply, as the hospital offers a structured mentorship program to guide self-motivated individuals through the early stages of their careers.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling to accommodate varying lifestyles. Full-time veterinarians work 15 shifts per month, with each shift lasting 10 hours, allowing for blocks of 2-3 shifts in a row followed by days off. Veterinarians have the option to choose between hybrid positions, straight general practice, or emergency care, depending on their career goals.
As the only veterinary hospital in the state with advanced diagnostic tools like MRI, CT scans, and electrochemotherapy, this facility offers a truly unique work environment. Constantly expanding its services, the hospital is equipped with two fully operational labs, multiple ultrasound machines, endoscopy, and five surgical suites.
