Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour emergency and advanced specialty veterinary hospital in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, seeking an experienced Veterinary Internist to join its team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides advanced care for dogs and cats and serves Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Stuart, and surrounding areas, with a focus on exceptional, compassionate care within a calm and welcoming environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Internist will provide advanced internal medicine care for dogs and cats as part of a multidisciplinary specialty hospital. The role involves working alongside specialists across Critical Care, Dermatology, Cardiology, Surgery, and Orthopedics to support patients requiring advanced veterinary care. The veterinarian will have access to a multidisciplinary peer network to support continued personal and professional growth. Flexible scheduling options are available, including three- to five-day working weeks. This position is for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital provides 24/7 emergency veterinary care and advanced specialty services, including Critical Care, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, and Orthopedics. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including an active I-131 therapy ward, ultrasound, Olympus endoscopy, fluoroscopy, high-definition laparoscopy, male and female cystoscopy, interventional radiology, and a diode laser. The hospital provides state-of-the-art care for cats and dogs and has served communities across Palm Beach, Martin, and Broward counties. Listed specialty hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The hospital has 11 DVMs alongside a great tenured support team. Its board-certified specialists work collaboratively across Critical Care, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, and Orthopedics, with a multidisciplinary approach to advanced patient care and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
