Introduction
Our client is hiring a full or part-time Veterinary Internist. The hospital has been serving the Oklahoma City community for over 30 years and provides care for dogs, cats, and a wide variety of exotic animal species. This is an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist to join a progressive referral environment that combines advanced internal medicine capabilities, emergency medicine, and specialty care within a state-of-the-art facility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to undertake the full scope of Veterinary Internist responsibilities, managing a diverse range of complex medical and referral cases. This role is ideally suited to a board-certified or residency-trained internist seeking access to a diverse caseload, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Practice Details
Operating 24/7, the hospital provides the full scope of GP services alongside advanced emergency, specialty, and wellness services designed to support diagnostics, critical care, complex medical case management, rehabilitation, and long-term patient health. Housed within a stunning 14,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, the hospital features nine exam rooms, a double surgery suite, a dedicated orthopedic surgery suite, a full in-house laboratory, ultrasound, radiology, a fully staffed 24/7 ICU, an in-house pharmacy, and the only pet-specific Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber in Oklahoma. Advanced diagnostic equipment includes, but is not limited to, a Vimago CT scanner, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house laboratory machines, and digital radiography, supporting the investigation and management of complex internal medicine and referral cases. Additional services include pet acupuncture, further enhancing the hospital’s comprehensive approach to patient care.

Team
You will join a multidisciplinary team of 14 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
