Introduction
Our client is a specialty referral hospital seeking a Veterinary Internist to join their multidisciplinary team, offering full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Internist will focus on advanced internal medicine cases, providing both critical and long-term care for complex conditions. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, reviewing patient histories, developing diagnostic plans, and utilizing advanced imaging and testing to reach accurate diagnoses. You will create and manage individualized treatment plans, perform specialized procedures such as endoscopy and minimally invasive interventions, and collaborate closely with referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care. The role also involves clear communication with clients regarding diagnoses and treatment options, as well as working alongside other specialists to deliver optimal patient outcomes. This position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinarian.

This is a state-of-the-art specialty hospital with a strong multidisciplinary environment, offering established services in surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and critical care, supported by a 24/7 emergency team. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopic procedures, hemodialysis, IV nutrition, minimally invasive stent placement, and radioactive iodine therapy. Services include advanced diagnostics, endoscopic procedures, and a wide range of internal medicine treatments for complex and chronic conditions. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
