Our client is a hospital that is hiring a Veterinary Internist on either a full-time or part-time basis. As a 24-hour Emergency, Referral and Primary Care facility, this advanced specialty hospital provides comprehensive care for Cats and Dogs within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist seeking to work alongside a large team of specialists while managing complex referral cases within one of the region’s most advanced veterinary facilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Internist will be responsible for the full scope of Veterinary Medical Internist responsibilities, managing a diverse referral caseload involving complex medical conditions and advanced diagnostic investigations. Working closely with specialists across multiple disciplines, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive patient care while contributing your expertise to collaborative case management. This position offers access to an extensive range of advanced diagnostic and treatment resources, allowing you to practice at the highest level of specialty medicine. The role is suited to experienced veterinarians who are board-certified or residency trained and are seeking an environment that supports clinical excellence, collaboration, and continued professional growth. Practice Details
This AAHA Accredited specialty and referral hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing the full scope of specialty, emergency, and critical care services. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of specialties including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency/Critical Care, Neurology, Cardiology, Oncology, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Zoo Medicine, creating an exceptionally diverse and challenging referral caseload. The practice is housed within a three-story, 43,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility featuring 19 examination rooms, 2 medical procedure rooms, and 9 state-of-the-art surgical suites, including dedicated suites for Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery, and minimally invasive procedures. Additional facilities include a Medical Oncology suite with a bone marrow transplant center, a Radiation Oncology suite housing a Trilogy Unit with Eclipse Software, and a large Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation center. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including, but not limited to, a 1.5 Tesla MRI and 128-slice CT scanner, providing clinicians with exceptional diagnostic capabilities. The combination of advanced equipment, extensive specialty services, and multidisciplinary collaboration creates an outstanding environment for practicing referral-level internal medicine.

Team
The hospital consists of a staff of over 50 veterinarians with specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency/Critical Care, Neurology, Cardiology, Oncology, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Zoo Medicine, Behavior, and Rehabilitation/Integrative Medicine. The medical team is supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
