Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Internist on either a full-time or part-time basis. This 24/7 specialty hospital provides advanced care for cats, dogs, avians, and exotic animals and is looking for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist to join its growing team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Internist, you will provide advanced internal medicine care while collaborating with specialists, referring veterinarians, and clients to develop comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans. Your clinical responsibilities include advanced diagnostics, endoscopic procedures, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, esophageal ballooning, laparoscopy, rhinoscopy, thoracoscopy, upper gastrointestinal (gastroduodenoscopy) procedures, and the interpretation of advanced diagnostic testing to guide patient care. This opportunity is suited to experienced veterinarians who are board-certified or residency-trained.

Practice Details
This specialty hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is equipped to support advanced internal medicine with a wide range of diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures. Services include advanced diagnostics, endoscopic procedures, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, esophageal ballooning, laparoscopy, rhinoscopy, thoracoscopy, upper gastrointestinal (gastroduodenoscopy), and other advanced diagnostic and treatment options. Additional diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound, radiography, and CT imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluation and treatment planning. The hospital provides a collaborative environment focused on delivering advanced specialty care.

The hospital has 11 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The collaborative environment brings together experienced clinicians dedicated to delivering high-quality specialty care while working closely with referring veterinarians to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
