Introduction
Our client is a 24/7 emergency facility seeking a Veterinary Internist to join their team in a full-time position, with part-time options open for discussion. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and offers a collaborative specialty environment for an experienced clinician.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Internist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing complex internal medicine cases while developing comprehensive treatment plans and delivering a high standard of patient care. The role includes performing and interpreting advanced diagnostic procedures, collaborating closely with specialists and emergency clinicians on complex cases, communicating treatment plans and patient progress with clients, and maintaining accurate medical records. The hospital is open to discussing scheduling preferences with the successful candidate. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is board certified or residency trained in Internal Medicine.
Practice Details
The hospital is open from 6:00 am to 12:00 am on Mondays, operates 24 hours a day from Tuesday through Thursday, is open from 12:00 am to 12:00 am on Fridays, and is closed on weekends. It is AAHA accredited and offers specialty services including emergency, critical care, internal medicine, radiology, neurology and neurosurgery, cardiology, dentistry and oral surgery, ophthalmology, general surgery, medical oncology, dermatology, radiation oncology, and rehabilitation. The practice operates from a 27,000-square-foot facility and is equipped with an in-house laboratory, Doppler, ultrasound, ventilators, telemetry, spiral CT, MRI, and a linear accelerator.

You will work alongside a team of specialist and emergency veterinarians, supported by a fantastic team of support staff who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
