Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a Veterinary Medical Internist on either a full-time or part-time basis. As a 24/7 emergency and referral hospital that has proudly served the greater Los Angeles area since 1997, this advanced specialty facility offers an outstanding opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained Internist to join a highly respected multidisciplinary team. Working within a referral environment that combines emergency, specialty, and advanced diagnostic services, you will have access to a diverse and complex caseload while collaborating with specialists across multiple disciplines.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Medical Internist, you will be responsible for the full scope of Veterinary Medical Internist responsibilities, managing complex referral cases and providing advanced diagnostic and treatment recommendations for a wide range of internal medicine conditions. You will work closely with specialists across the hospital to deliver comprehensive patient care, contribute to collaborative case management, and help drive exceptional clinical outcomes. This role is ideally suited to an experienced veterinarian who is board certified or residency trained and is seeking an environment that supports advanced medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continued professional growth. Practice Details
Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, this state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital provides comprehensive referral and emergency services to patients throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Housed within a nearly 10,000-square-foot facility, the hospital features some of the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technology available, allowing clinicians to manage complex cases at the highest level of veterinary medicine. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, a 64-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy unit, arthroscopy tower, Force Triad system, three Snyder O2 units, multi-parameter monitoring devices, EKG/defibrillator, TEG unit, and in-house blood gas and electrolyte machines. The hospital offers a full scope of specialty services including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, and Emergency Medicine, creating a highly diverse referral caseload and fostering collaboration between departments. The combination of advanced technology, specialty expertise, and around-the-clock emergency services provides an exceptional environment for practicing referral-level internal medicine.
