Our client is a hospital hiring an experienced Veterinary Internist to join a thriving and well-established team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital offers extended weekday hours to provide convenient access to care. Opening hours are Monday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. Weekend and after-hours requirements are not specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Internist will manage a busy and established referral caseload with a strong focus on internal medicine and complex case management. Clinical responsibilities include advanced diagnostics, case workups, long-term disease management, and collaboration with referring veterinarians. This position is suited to an experienced clinician who values continuity of care, patient-centered medicine, and building lasting client relationships while contributing to a high standard of clinical excellence.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a small animal general practice with some exotic species and a well-established internal medicine service supported by a built-in referral caseload. The facility is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house diagnostics, and cold laser therapy to support advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Services offered include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, sick and injury visits, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, microchipping, pet surgery, advanced surgical services, and laser therapy. The practice culture is collaborative, supportive, and quality-driven.

Team
The team consists of four DVMs supported by a highly experienced and tenured support staff. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, allowing close cooperation between doctors and strong technical support to deliver exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
