Located in the heart of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, this progressive specialty hospital is seeking a second internist to join its dynamic and growing team. The hospital is currently constructing a state-of-the-art, comprehensive 24-hour ER and specialty clinic in Gig Harbor, Washington. This hospital invites a second internist to join the internal medicine team, established in June 2021. This role offers the opportunity to help shape and expand the internal medicine service while contributing to the culture and growth of the hospital. The current board-certified internist is experienced and dedicated to mentoring new residency graduates. The hospital offers state-of-the-art equipment including a new Storz endoscopy tower and comprehensive support for advanced diagnostics and care.
The hospital facility in Gig Harbor spans 21,000 square feet and boasts advanced features such as a dedicated ICU with long-term mechanical ventilation, a full in-house lab, 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house blood bank and component therapy, I-131 therapy, minimally invasive surgery, flexible and rigid endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and more. The fully operational 24-hour ER service, currently housed separately, will integrate into the new hospital alongside a dedicated critical care team led by a board-certified Criticalist.
