Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Internist to join their team. Founded in 2010, this 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital provides advanced care for cats and dogs, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive referral environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Veterinary Internist responsibilities, managing a diverse internal medicine caseload while working closely with emergency clinicians and fellow specialists to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing complex medical cases, developing comprehensive treatment plans, performing advanced diagnostic procedures, and collaborating across multiple specialties to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Specific working hours will be discussed further. The practice is seeking an experienced Board Certified Veterinary Internist or Residency Trained Veterinarian who enjoys working within a collaborative specialty setting and is committed to delivering the highest standard of internal medicine.
Practice Details
The hospital provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with specialty services operating Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, CT, Radiology, and Advanced Imaging, providing specialists with the diagnostic resources needed to investigate and manage complex referral cases. Alongside its comprehensive emergency service, the hospital offers a wide range of specialty services including Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Pain Management, creating a highly collaborative environment where specialists work together to provide seamless patient care. Since opening in 2010, the hospital has continued to provide advanced emergency and specialty medicine within a modern referral setting.

You will be joining a team of 8 DVMs within a supportive, multi-specialty environment, alongside dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
