Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Internist to join their 24/7 ER center. With robust referral relationships serving the Southern Atlanta community, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established specialty hospital caring for cats and dogs within a collaborative, referral-based environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Medical Veterinary Internist responsibilities, managing a diverse internal medicine caseload while working closely with emergency clinicians and fellow specialists to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for evaluating complex medical cases, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, performing advanced diagnostic procedures where appropriate, and collaborating across departments to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. The practice is seeking a Board Certified Veterinary Internist or Residency Trained Veterinarian who enjoys working within a progressive specialty setting. Flexible scheduling, including three to five-day work weeks, is available to support every stage of your career and personal life.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of Urgent Care, Emergency, and Specialty Care services and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since transitioning to a modern, well-equipped 14,000-square-foot facility in 2017, the hospital has continued to provide an advanced clinical environment for managing complex referral and emergency cases. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, Direct Digital Radiography, a CT Scanner, Ultrasound, and an In-House Laboratory, with additional facilities including an In-House Pharmacy to support efficient diagnostics and treatment. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, the practice is committed to maintaining high clinical standards while providing specialists with the resources and technology needed to deliver outstanding patient care.

Team
You will be joining a team of 7 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
