Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital that is hiring for a Veterinary Internist. The hospital is a full-service, 24/7 facility that provides university-standard medical care within a state-of-the-art setting and is supported by a compassionate and experienced team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24/7. This position can be full or part time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include conducting comprehensive medical examinations and diagnostic evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for complex medical conditions, performing advanced diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, endoscopy, and biopsy, providing consultation services, contributing to the ongoing education of the team, and offering mentorship and guidance to other clinicians. This role is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital operates within a state-of-the-art facility providing comprehensive services and a wide range of advanced diagnostics and treatments. Equipment includes advanced diagnostic tools, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, and specialized internal medicine equipment. Facilities support complex medical case management and high-level patient care. The hospital is dedicated to continuous education and maintaining the highest standards of care. Services offered include wellness memberships, pet diagnostics, CT scan, dental care, laser therapy, vaccinations, and health certificates for international travel.

Team
There are 11 DVMs and a great tenured support team.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
