Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing multi-specialty and emergency veterinary services, seeking an Experienced Veterinary Internist to join their collaborative and compassionate team delivering advanced care for complex medical cases.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules, with options ranging from three to five-day work weeks. Specialty hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while emergency services operate 24/7, ensuring continuous patient care and support.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Internist will focus on diagnosing and managing complex internal medicine cases, working closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive treatment plans. Responsibilities include collaborating with referring veterinarians, utilizing advanced diagnostics, and contributing to a coordinated approach to patient care. The role requires an experienced veterinarian, with a strong background in internal medicine and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary environment focused on high-quality, evidence-based care.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA accredited, multi-specialty and emergency hospital offering 24/7 care in a calm and compassionate environment. The practice provides advanced specialty services including internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, and surgery, alongside emergency and urgent care. The facility is equipped with ultrasound, CT, and endoscopy equipment, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions. The hospital emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and compassion, with a strong focus on coordinated care between specialists and primary care veterinarians.

Team
The team consists of 7 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including specialists in internal medicine, oncology, and surgery, as well as highly trained emergency doctors, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
