Our client is a hospital looking to hire a Veterinary Internist on either a full-time or part-time basis. This 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital provides advanced veterinary care for cats and dogs, serving more than 38,000 patients each year. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-volume referral hospital committed to delivering exceptional patient care while working alongside a large multidisciplinary team of specialists and emergency clinicians.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Medical Veterinary Internist responsibilities, providing advanced diagnostic and medical care for a diverse referral caseload. You will work collaboratively with emergency clinicians and specialists to investigate and manage complex internal medicine cases, develop comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans, and provide ongoing care for hospitalized and referred patients. You will play an integral role in delivering high-quality specialist care while maintaining excellent communication with colleagues and clients throughout each patient’s treatment journey. Specific working hours will be discussed further. Applications are welcomed from board-certified veterinary internists and residency-trained candidates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing continuous emergency and specialty care for companion animals. The practice provides the full scope of 24/7 Emergency Services alongside Urgent Care and a comprehensive range of specialty services, including Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Medical Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Surgery, and more, offering a diverse and complex referral caseload. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital Radiography, CT, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, and an In-House Laboratory, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Facilities include an Intensive Care Unit to provide comprehensive monitoring and treatment for critically ill patients. The practice is AAHA-accredited, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine.

You will be joining a team of 63 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
