Job Description
A leading veterinary practice is seeking a seeking a Veterinary Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist with board certification or residency training to join our team of specialists. The practice is known for its high-quality care and strong educational culture, including an established in-house technician training program, CE offerings, and rotating internships and residencies in ECC and surgery. The specialty team covers a broad range of areas, including Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Exotics, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Dermatology. The role offers a balanced work schedule with two days per week dedicated to clinical responsibilities and two days per week to administrative duties. Competitive compensation is provided, including additional production-based bonuses. Responsibilities include leading and managing the team of veterinary specialists, ensuring consistent care standards, recruiting new specialists, handling clinical cases in your specialty, and managing departmental budgets and specialist compensation.
