Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a leading multi-specialty and emergency veterinary hospital located in Bonita Springs, Florida, currently seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Internist to join their expert team. Serving the communities of Bonita Springs, Naples, and surrounding areas, the hospital is dedicated to providing the highest standard of specialty care and is known for its collaborative approach among specialists and emergency clinicians.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a 7-day-a-week operation. Specific scheduling details can be tailored to suit the needs of the internist and hospital.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Internist will play a vital role in the hospital’s internal medicine service, working closely with an experienced team to manage complex cases and deliver advanced diagnostics and treatment plans. You’ll collaborate with other board-certified specialists in cardiology, surgery, and radiology to provide comprehensive, coordinated care. The role is open to board-certified or residency-trained candidates who are passionate about delivering specialty-level medicine in a team-oriented environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiology, CT scanner, telemetry, and a full in-house laboratory. It also features an I-131 treatment ward, supporting a wide range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services. The practice provides specialized care across multiple disciplines, including internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, radiology, and emergency services.
Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs, including multiple board-certified specialists, supported by a highly skilled and experienced technical and administrative staff. The culture emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence in clinical care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
