Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for a Veterinary Internist. This is a specialty and emergency veterinary setting focused on delivering advanced, high-quality care to patients through collaboration, clinical excellence, and access to cutting-edge diagnostics and treatments.

The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will focus on advanced internal medicine cases, utilizing a wide range of diagnostic and treatment modalities to manage complex conditions. Clinical responsibilities include performing and interpreting advanced diagnostics such as bone marrow analysis, cerebral spinal fluid analysis, joint fluid analysis, metabolic and endocrine testing, and specialized bloodwork. You will also carry out ultrasound-guided aspirates and biopsies, manage immune-mediated diseases, and oversee systolic blood pressure monitoring. The role involves performing a variety of endoscopic procedures including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, laparoscopy, rhinoscopy, thoracoscopy, and upper GI endoscopy. Additional responsibilities include working with advanced imaging modalities such as CT scans, MRI, and digital radiographs, as well as managing treatments such as hemodialysis, plasma exchange, IV nutrition, radioactive iodine therapy, and minimally invasive procedures. The position is suited to experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinarians.

This hospital provides 24/7 emergency and specialty care, supporting a high caseload of over 16,000 patients annually. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, and specialized laboratory testing. Services offered include emergency care, internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and a wide range of advanced procedures such as feeding tube placement, laser therapies, minimally invasive stenting, and radioactive iodine therapy. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
