A growing 24/7 ER and Specialty hospital in Meridian is seeking a Specialty In-Patient Care Associate Veterinarian (Hospitalist) to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Specialty Services, assisting with the intake and management of non-critical hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and effectively communicating with clients and referral partners.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a small-animal veterinarian currently working in general or emergency practice to transition into a specialty practice setting. The position involves seeing same-day transfers from referring partners, overseeing inpatients across the hospital, and supporting the ER and surgery teams with procedures, patient recoveries, and client communication.
The successful candidate will work alongside the hospital leadership team to improve workflow and standard operating procedures while contributing to the ongoing training of clinical team members.
