Introduction
Our client is a specialty and referral hospital seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Dermatologist to join their multi-disciplinary team. The hospital provides advanced specialty care and 24/7 emergency services for small animals, offering collaborative case management across multiple departments including internal medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital’s specialty services operate by appointment Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Emergency services are available Monday through Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with no emergency coverage on Thursdays. This is a full-time position, with scheduling aligned to the specialty service hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a variety of dermatologic conditions in small animals, including allergic, autoimmune, infectious, and parasitic diseases. Responsibilities include performing dermatologic procedures such as cytology, biopsies, allergy testing, and video otoscopy. The dermatologist will provide consultations for in-house referrals and external clients, while collaborating with internal medicine, surgery, and emergency teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. The position is open to board-certified or residency-trained veterinarians in dermatology who are passionate about high-quality medicine, client communication, and teamwork.

The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as ultrasound, CT imaging, endoscopy, colonoscopy, video otoscopy, intradermal allergen screening, and therapeutic lasers. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
