Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing 24-hour emergency and specialty veterinary care for dogs and cats. They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Dermatologist to join their growing specialty team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and is continuing to expand its specialty services within a facility designed to support advanced veterinary medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Dermatologist will provide specialist dermatology care while collaborating with emergency clinicians and specialists across the hospital. The role offers the opportunity to help develop the hospital’s expanding dermatology service while working alongside established Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, and Emergency & Critical Care services. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital features a large 24/7 intensive care unit, expanded emergency and ICU space, three operating rooms, dedicated respiratory and gastrointestinal isolation suites, an expanded in-house laboratory, oxygen cages, high-flow oxygen support, and dedicated emergency and specialty entrances. Equipment includes digital radiography, multiple diagnostic-quality ultrasound units, CT, endoscopy, a linear accelerator, continuous EKG monitoring using remote telemetry, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximetry, rapid diagnostic testing, and an extensive in-house blood bank. Services include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Endoscopy, Digital Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, and Emergency & Critical Care, with specialty services expanding into Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and Cardiology. The hospital is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Team
The hospital has 12 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including highly trained technicians, criticalists, experienced emergency clinicians, and specialists. The environment supports collaboration and multidisciplinary care, with continuing education opportunities available as the specialty team continues to grow.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
