A leading 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dermatologist to join its growing multidisciplinary team. This is an outstanding opportunity to build and expand a dermatology service within a collaborative referral environment, working alongside experienced emergency clinicians and specialists while delivering advanced patient care in a modern, purpose-built facility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Dermatologist, you’ll diagnose and manage a wide range of complex dermatological conditions, perform advanced diagnostic procedures, and develop tailored treatment plans for referral patients. You’ll collaborate closely with specialists across multiple disciplines, provide expert guidance to referring veterinarians, and build lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and compassionate care. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to clinical mentorship, continuing education, and the ongoing development of the dermatology service.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a state-of-the-art 24,000-square-foot referral centre designed to support advanced emergency and specialty medicine. Alongside a busy 24/7 emergency service, the hospital offers specialist services in cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery. Equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, the facility provides an exceptional environment for specialists to practise high-level medicine while benefiting from a collaborative, veterinarian-led culture and opportunities for long-term professional growth.

You’ll join a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of emergency veterinarians, board-certified specialists, certified technicians, and dedicated support staff who share a commitment to collaboration and clinical excellence. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
