Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is currently hiring for a Veterinary Dermatologist. The role focuses on delivering advanced dermatology services within a referral and emergency setting.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a 24/7 hospital, with specialty consults taking place Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Dermatologist will be responsible for the typical clinical duties associated with a dermatology specialty role, managing referral dermatology cases for canine and feline patients. The position is open to board-certified or residency-trained veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped and operates as an ER and multi-specialty hospital, supporting a varied and complex caseload.

Team
The dermatologist will work alongside a number of DVMs across multiple departments, supported by well-trained staff. The environment is described as collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teamwork across specialties.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
