Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Dermatologist on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides advanced emergency and specialty care for cats and dogs and is looking for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dermatologist to join its collaborative multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice advanced veterinary dermatology in a modern specialty environment supported by experienced specialists and state-of-the-art facilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Dermatologist will provide advanced diagnostic and medical dermatology services for companion animals while collaborating closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing complex dermatological conditions, developing individualised treatment plans, performing advanced diagnostic procedures, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and referring veterinarians. Clinical responsibilities include allergen-specific immunotherapy, bacterial and fungal cultures, cytology, deep ear flush procedures with video-otoscopy, endocrine function and stimulation testing, food trial planning, fungal disease testing, intradermal and serum allergy testing, laser therapy, skin biopsies, skin scrapings, and tissue culture. This opportunity is suited to board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dermatologists.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provides emergency care alongside specialty services in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, and Surgery. The practice has recently moved into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility to support continued growth and expanded specialty services. Advanced dermatology services are supported by comprehensive diagnostic capabilities and modern practice management software designed to streamline workflows and medical records. The hospital is committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Team
You will join a collaborative team of 21 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The multidisciplinary environment includes experienced specialists, certified technicians, assistants, and client service representatives who work together to provide exceptional patient care while fostering collaboration, continuous professional development, and clinical excellence.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
