Introduction
Our client is a well-established 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Dermatologist to join its multidisciplinary team. This hospital provides advanced care to canine and feline patients, with a robust team of over 19 veterinarians specializing in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Emergency & Critical Care, Radiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Anesthesia. The environment is collaborative and focused on delivering exceptional care while fostering ongoing professional development.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. Coverage is structured to support the 24/7 nature of the facility, with dedicated emergency and critical care teams managing after-hours services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Dermatologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of dermatologic conditions in small animal patients, including allergy and skin disease management. The role includes working alongside other specialists to provide integrated care and contributing to the hospital’s teaching culture. This opportunity is open to board-certified or residency-trained candidates seeking a team-oriented, progressive environment.

Practice Details
The 26,000-square-foot AAHA-accredited facility is undergoing a 16,000-square-foot expansion to support its continued growth. The hospital is outfitted with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including a 1.5T MRI, three ultrasound units, 16-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, laser therapy, endoscopy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and a Halcyon linear accelerator. The hospital offers a full spectrum of services such as dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, radiology, ophthalmology, surgery, emergency and critical care, and more. A strong rotating internship program further supports the hospital’s educational and collaborative culture.

Team
The team consists of more than 19 veterinarians, supported by a broad range of specialists and support staff. The environment is highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, teamwork, and delivering high-quality medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
