A large, highly respected veterinary specialty group in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon to join its expanding referral team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends. Scheduling is flexible and designed to support both professional fulfillment and sustainable work-life balance, with no routine weekend or overnight commitments.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide advanced veterinary dentistry and oral surgery services, including complex extractions, oral surgery procedures, and comprehensive dental diagnostics. You will collaborate closely with referral partners, residents, and specialty colleagues while maintaining clear, compassionate communication with clients and referring veterinarians. The position also offers opportunities for mentorship, resident training, and active involvement in advancing standards of care within veterinary dentistry.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology to support the highest level of dental and oral surgical care. Capabilities include digital and computed dental radiography, modern anesthetic monitoring, in-house laboratory equipment, and fully equipped surgical suites. The practice works closely alongside multiple specialty disciplines, allowing for comprehensive case management and seamless referral collaboration. Dedicated anesthesiology support enables safe management of patients with complex anesthetic needs.

Team
You will join a team of ten veterinarians, including board-certified dental specialists and doctors in advanced training. The broader specialty network includes internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, and dermatology, fostering a highly collaborative clinical environment. The culture emphasizes integrity, compassion, mentorship, and teamwork, with strong support from experienced technical and administrative staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
