Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Dentist to take over an established dentistry service at a well-regarded Emergency Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Center in Springfield, Oregon. This busy, privately-owned practice is known for providing exceptional emergency and dental care in the community. The hospital fosters a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented environment, making it an ideal opportunity for professionals seeking strong mentorship and a thriving team culture.
This role offers the chance to continue the growth of veterinary dental care following the retirement of a Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a 64-slice CT, a dedicated dental operatory, a modern surgical suite, and a well-established ICU with years of experience collaborating with the dental service. The hospital works closely with Board-Certified specialists across multiple disciplines and has an established relationship with a board-certified anesthesiologist to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
The practice supports a healthy work-life balance by offering a reasonable caseload and competitive employment packages. Compensation includes a competitive starting base salary, monthly production with no-negative accrual, and generous sign-on and relocation bonuses. The benefits package is comprehensive, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA), life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company contributions, PTO, a generous CE allowance with additional PTO, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, and more.
