Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Dentist to join its urgent care practice in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The hospital provides compassionate, critical veterinary care to pets and is hiring an experienced dental-focused veterinarian to develop and grow dedicated dentistry services within an established urgent care setting.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Flexibility is offered to allow the Veterinary Dentist to create a schedule that supports both clinical focus and quality of life.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Dentist will lead and develop dental services within the practice, providing comprehensive oral health care for small animal patients. Clinical responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, full-mouth radiographs, extractions when needed, full oral examinations under anesthesia, and pre- and post-procedure monitoring. The role also involves diagnosing and managing complex dental and oral conditions, educating pet owners on treatment plans and ongoing care, collaborating closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, and participating in continuing education to remain current in veterinary dentistry. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a strong interest or background in dentistry.

The practice operates as part of a broader veterinary network that provides organizational support, internal specialty consultations, structured career development, and ongoing investment in technology and education. Dental services are being expanded to improve access to care for pets, including comprehensive cleanings, diagnostics, and treatment in a modern clinical environment focused on efficient, high-impact medicine.

Team
The team currently includes three DVMs supported by a dedicated and collaborative support staff. The working environment is team-oriented and supportive, allowing clinicians to focus on high-quality patient care while contributing to a positive and professional culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
