Our client is a full-service specialty and emergency hospital in Gaithersburg, MD, seeking a board-certified Veterinary Dentist to join their collaborative and highly skilled team. This opportunity offers the chance to practice advanced dentistry within a modern, state-of-the-art facility while working alongside an experienced group of specialists and emergency veterinarians.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital. The schedule provides a balance between professional responsibilities and personal time, with comprehensive support available at all hours to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Dentist will provide high-quality dental care and oral surgery services to patients, working in a dedicated dental suite with access to advanced equipment. Responsibilities include performing both routine and complex dental procedures, diagnosing and treating oral conditions such as periodontal disease, dental trauma, and oral cancers. The role offers collaboration with anesthesiologists and highly trained support staff to ensure patient safety and comfort, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional growth.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited, 30,000+ square foot facility is equipped with advanced technology including CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and digital radiography. Services span a wide range of specialties such as internal medicine, oncology, neurology, surgery, radiology, anesthesiology, and rehabilitation. The hospital emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and gold-standard patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
