Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Dentist to join its specialty referral team. The practice is a multi-specialty emergency and referral hospital providing advanced veterinary care to pets and is hiring an experienced dental specialist to support the continued expansion of its specialty services.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a hospital that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Specific doctor hours are to be discussed with the practice. The role is based within a specialty and emergency setting that supports continuous patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Dentist will provide advanced dental diagnosis and treatment within a collaborative, multi-specialty hospital environment. Clinical responsibilities include managing complex dental and oral health cases, delivering specialty-level dental care, collaborating closely with emergency clinicians and other specialists, and supporting a team-based approach to patient care. The role also involves contributing to staff education and maintaining high clinical standards. This position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinary dentist.

Practice Details
The hospital is a busy, well-established multi-specialty referral and emergency center serving Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts, with locations in Buzzards Bay and Dennis. The practice supports a wide range of specialty services and is expanding to include dentistry as part of its continued growth. Facilities are designed to support advanced specialty care within a referral setting. Services offered include 24/7 emergency care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, zoo and exotics medicine, blood bank services, and end-of-life care. The practice culture emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and excellent patient outcomes.

Team
The team consists of thirty-eight DVMs supported by a large and highly skilled support staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with specialists across multiple disciplines working together to deliver comprehensive referral-level care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
