Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Veterinary Criticalist to join their established and collaborative team . This 24/7 specialty and emergency referral hospital is expanding its critical care service and is looking for an experienced Criticalist to enhance their round-the-clock patient support.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing continuous emergency and critical care coverage. The role includes both weekday and weekend shifts, with scheduling designed to support work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is open to experienced Criticalists and involves leading the assessment, triage, and treatment of emergent and critically ill patients. The Criticalist will work closely with emergency staff and specialists to deliver high-quality, timely care and help guide treatment decisions for complex medical and surgical cases. The position also emphasizes client communication, clinical leadership, and participation in collaborative patient management.

Practice Details
The practice provides advanced specialty services including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Medical Oncology, Dermatology, Neurology, Cardiology, Radioiodine therapy, and Physical Rehabilitation. The hospital is equipped with diagnostic and imaging capabilities to support intensive care, including in-house laboratory services. The emergency service is structured to provide immediate, high-level care to both urgent and ongoing cases.

The hospital is staffed with a large team of experienced DVMs and a skilled support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
