Veterinary Criticalist

Job Description

A 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty hospital is seeking a second board-certified or residency-trained Criticalist to join its established Critical Care team. This role offers a collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care alongside experienced technicians, specialists, and medical leaders dedicated to delivering top-tier veterinary medicine.

The AAHA-accredited facility features specialists in critical care, internal medicine, medical oncology, and surgery, supported by a 24/7 emergency service. The hospital recently expanded into an 18,000+ square-foot, state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including digital radiology, fluoroscopy, I-131, ultrasound, CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy, high-flow oxygen, ventilatory support, and in-house labs. The team works closely with a sister hospital located less than 30 minutes away, providing access to MRI, dialysis, and plasmapheresis for advanced case management.

The position includes opportunities to mentor rotating interns, internal medicine and surgery residents, and new emergency doctors through a specialized clinician mentorship program.
