Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Criticalist to join their team. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and involves working with cats and dogs in a 24-hour emergency and specialty setting, delivering advanced critical care within a collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on emergency and critical care medicine, including managing complex and life-threatening cases, overseeing intensive care patients, and utilizing advanced monitoring and life-support techniques. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive diagnostics, supporting emergency interventions, collaborating with specialty teams, and contributing to case management and treatment planning. The position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained criticalist who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and values collaboration and high clinical standards.

Practice Details
The hospital is a 24-hour emergency and specialty facility equipped with advanced technology including continuous ECG monitoring, full laboratory capabilities, critical care ventilators, ultrasound, CT, MRI, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and digital radiography. Services include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, and ophthalmology. The facility supports advanced critical care services such as cardiac output monitoring, direct blood pressure monitoring, mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, capnography, and transfusion therapy. The hospital is AAHA-accredited, reflecting high standards of veterinary care and clinical excellence.

Team
The team consists of 8 DVMs supported by a tenured and experienced support staff, creating a collaborative, specialist-driven environment with strong clinical support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
