A leading veterinary emergency and specialty hospital in Bellevue, Washington is seeking a board certified or board eligible Veterinary Criticalist to join its established specialty and emergency team. Serving the wider Bellevue and Seattle region, the hospital is known for delivering advanced referral and emergency care supported by a collaborative group of specialists. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates with a fully staffed emergency and intensive care service supporting referral and emergency patients across the region, with flexible scheduling available including the option of a three day working week.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Criticalist will manage complex emergency and critical care cases within a busy specialty and referral hospital. Responsibilities include leading ICU case management, collaborating with emergency clinicians and specialists across multiple disciplines, guiding treatment plans for critically ill patients and contributing to hospital rounds and case discussions to support the highest standards of patient care.

Practice Details
This specialty and emergency hospital provides advanced referral services supported by modern diagnostic and treatment technology including digital radiography, CT imaging, ultrasound, endoscopy and a fully equipped diagnostic laboratory. The hospital delivers multidisciplinary care with specialists in surgery, oncology, internal medicine, cardiology and pathology working alongside emergency clinicians to manage complex medical cases.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of eighteen veterinarians including specialists in surgery, pathology, oncology, internal medicine, cardiology and emergency medicine alongside experienced technicians and dedicated support staff who collaborate closely to deliver advanced patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
