Job Description
Introduction
A multi specialty veterinary referral center in Westminster, Colorado is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join its established specialist team. The hospital is known for delivering advanced veterinary care through a collaborative network of specialists and emergency clinicians, providing comprehensive referral services to patients across the region. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a respected specialty environment focused on high quality medicine and complex case management.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, with the practice closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule supports a structured weekday rota with flexibility available for either full time or part time cardiology coverage.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Cardiologist will manage referral cardiology cases including consultations, diagnostics and advanced cardiac care for companion animals. Responsibilities include performing cardiac evaluations, interpreting diagnostic imaging, developing treatment plans and collaborating with the wider specialist and emergency teams to support complex patient care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
