Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Veterinary Cardiologist position. The hospital delivers advanced specialty and emergency care and is seeking an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained cardiologist to provide high-level cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital operates as a 24-hour emergency, specialty, and primary care facility. Specific working days, doctor hours, weekend rotations, and after-hours expectations are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to experienced veterinarians only, specifically those who are board-certified or residency-trained in cardiology. The Veterinary Cardiologist will focus on advanced cardiovascular care while collaborating closely with emergency, surgery, neurology, and internal medicine teams. The role emphasizes delivering world-class medicine, building trusted client and colleague relationships, contributing to teaching and collaboration within the hospital, and supporting a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive specialty and emergency services supported by advanced medical infrastructure. Equipment includes a 1.5T MRI, anesthesia machines and ventilators, and scoping equipment. The facility features 9 exam rooms, 2 reception areas, 2 treatment areas, and 2 surgical suites. Services offered include emergency and critical care with advanced monitoring and life-support capabilities, neurology services including surgical and non-surgical spinal care, and a full range of advanced surgical services such as orthopedic, soft tissue, reconstructive, and emergency surgery. The practice culture is centered on collaboration, innovation, empathy, and delivering advanced care supported by strong clinical teamwork.

Team
The hospital is currently supported by 15 DVMs, working alongside a strong support team in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment that values shared goals and high standards of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
