Introduction
Our client is a specialty and emergency hospital seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join their talented team. The hospital provides advanced referral and emergency care, supporting a wide range of specialty services and a strong collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with flexibility for part-time availability if desired. The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing continuous care and support for patients.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing specialized cardiology services within a multi-disciplinary specialty hospital. The position is open to both board-certified and residency-trained candidates, with opportunities to collaborate closely with emergency, internal medicine, oncology, and surgical teams to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
Practice Details
This hospital is a 24/7 emergency and specialty center equipped with seven exam rooms, two ultrasound suites, onsite MRI, 128-slice CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, wound vac, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), EMG, ICU ventilator, and video otoscope. It is a VECCS Level 2 certified facility with existing specialty departments including Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery. The team includes VTS-certified technicians in Emergency & Critical Care and Small Animal Internal Medicine, reflecting a strong culture of excellence and advanced medical practice.
Team
The hospital’s team includes 15 veterinarians and a highly skilled support staff. The environment is collaborative, team-oriented, and focused on delivering world-class medicine with compassion and professionalism.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
