Introduction
Our client is a specialty and emergency hospital seeking a Veterinary Cardiologist to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Cardiologist will focus on advanced cardiology cases, including performing echocardiography, interpreting diagnostic findings, and managing complex cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include diagnosing heart disease, assessing heart function, and developing treatment plans for conditions such as arrhythmias. The role also involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support referred and emergency cases, while maintaining strong client communication and high standards of patient care. This position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital spanning 11,000 sq. ft., offering services in internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and surgery. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, 64-slice helical CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, and comprehensive in-house laboratory capabilities. Additional capabilities include mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, transfusion therapy, and advanced patient monitoring such as telemetry, pulse oximetry, capnography, and blood pressure monitoring. The hospital also offers cardiology-specific services including echocardiography and Holter monitoring. The practice emphasizes a collaborative environment with access to a wide network of specialists and a high caseload of referral and emergency cases.

Team
The team consists of 12 DVMs supported by a tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment focused on delivering advanced patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
