Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing 24-hour emergency and specialty veterinary care for dogs and cats in Swansea, Massachusetts. They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Cardiologist to join their growing specialty practice. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides a multidisciplinary environment with expanding specialty services and advanced clinical facilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Cardiologist will provide specialist cardiology care while collaborating with emergency clinicians and specialists across the hospital. The role offers access to continuous EKG monitoring using remote telemetry, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, rapid diagnostic testing, and advanced diagnostic imaging. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a 36,000-square-foot facility featuring a large 24/7 intensive care unit, an expanded emergency and ICU footprint, three operating rooms, dedicated respiratory and gastrointestinal isolation suites, an expanded in-house laboratory, oxygen cages, high-flow oxygen support, and separate entrances for emergency and specialty services. Equipment includes digital radiography, multiple diagnostic-quality ultrasound units, CT, endoscopy, a linear accelerator, an extensive in-house blood bank, and 24-hour access to laboratory and diagnostic imaging equipment. Services include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Endoscopy, Digital Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, and Emergency & Critical Care, with specialty offerings expanding to include Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Dermatology. The hospital is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Team
The hospital has 12 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including highly trained technicians, specialists, criticalists, and experienced emergency clinicians. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
