Our client is a hospital providing emergency and specialty veterinary care for dogs and cats in Norwalk, Connecticut. They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Cardiologist to join their growing team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers a collaborative environment focused on advanced veterinary medicine and clinical excellence.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Cardiologist will provide specialist cardiology care for dogs and cats, including advanced diagnostic and screening procedures, treatment of a variety of cardiovascular conditions, and intensive care hospitalization for cardiac emergencies. The role also involves interventional cardiology, using advanced procedures and imaging techniques to provide minimally invasive treatment for cardiovascular conditions and reduce the need for invasive surgery. This position is specifically for an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinarian.

The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care alongside specialty veterinary services and offers access to advanced technology and modern clinical facilities. Cardiology capabilities include advanced diagnostics and screening, treatment of cardiovascular conditions, intensive care hospitalization for cardiac emergencies, and interventional cardiology procedures. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
