Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Veterinary Cardiologist. The hospital is located in the suburban Philadelphia area and has been a preferred specialty and emergency hospital for companion animals since 1986. They operate within a renovated 25,000 square foot facility and focus on specialty and emergency cases across anesthesiology, behavioral medicine, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, emergency, internal medicine, minimally invasive surgery, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology including CT, MRI, and I-131, and surgery. The hospital has recently partnered with a network of veterinarian-led hospitals throughout Connecticut, Maine, and Massachusetts to support high-level care across the Northeast.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position, with the hospital open for appointments seven days a week. The schedule offers structured hours within a supportive and well-staffed specialty environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing diagnostic imaging services within a multidisciplinary specialty environment. Diagnostic capabilities referenced in the brief include MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, I-131, endoscopy, arthroscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, and in-house laboratory capabilities. This position is open to experienced applicants who are Board-Certified or Residency-Trained.

Practice Details
Equipment includes a Vivid E95 ultrasound, GE MAC 1200 6-lead ECG, digital radiography, a Holter monitor system, an AliveCor ECG event recorder, a St. Jude pacemaker interrogator, onsite MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, I-131, endoscopy, arthroscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, and in-house laboratory capabilities. Facilities include a renovated 25,000 square foot hospital supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Accreditations have not been provided. Services offered include anesthesiology, behavioral medicine, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, emergency, internal medicine, minimally invasive surgery, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology including CT, MRI, and I-131, and surgery.

There are 49 DVMs across anesthesiology, behavior, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, emergency, internal medicine, minimally invasive surgery, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
