Introduction
This 24/7 emergency and specialty referral hospital in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Cardiologist to join its multidisciplinary team. Home to 15 veterinarians, including specialists in oncology, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, and emergency and critical care, this is an outstanding opportunity to build a thriving cardiology service while collaborating with some of the region’s leading specialists in a state-of-the-art referral environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
You’ll provide advanced cardiology consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for referral and emergency patients while working closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive patient care. The role offers the opportunity to develop and expand the cardiology service, contribute to case discussions, mentor colleagues where appropriate, and practise at the highest level within a collaborative referral hospital.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited, VECCS Certified Level I ICU referral hospital operates 24 hours a day and provides emergency and specialist services across oncology, neurology, surgery, internal medicine, and critical care. The purpose-built facility features 12 exam rooms, a 64-slice CT scanner, MRI, fluoroscopy, multiple digital radiology suites, ultrasound, endoscopy, I-131 treatment suite, hands-free radiology protocols, and multiple fully equipped surgical suites. Cardiologists benefit from working alongside board-certified specialists while enjoying access to one of the largest specialist networks in the country, extensive continuing education, clinical studies, and leadership development opportunities. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Team
The hospital is home to 15 veterinarians, including specialists in oncology, DACVIM, surgery, DACVECC, neurology, and critical care, supported by dedicated technicians assigned to each specialty service. The collaborative culture encourages knowledge sharing, multidisciplinary case management, and delivering exceptional patient care through teamwork.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
