Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring either a full-time or part-time Veterinary Cardiologist to join its beautiful new state-of-the-art 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. Caring for cats and dogs, this is an outstanding opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to become part of a highly collaborative specialty environment with access to advanced technology and a comprehensive range of specialty services.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves undertaking the full scope of Veterinary Cardiologist responsibilities, managing a diverse cardiology caseload within a busy specialty and emergency setting. The successful candidate will work closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to provide advanced diagnostic and treatment services while contributing to the continued growth and development of the cardiology service. Specific working hours are to be discussed further. This opportunity is suited to a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist.
Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing continuous emergency and specialty care. Specialty services include, but are not limited to, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Emergency and Critical Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Anesthesiology. The practice is housed within a 26,000 sq. ft facility featuring 15 exam rooms, 2 doctor office spaces, and 11 departments. Advanced equipment includes, but is not limited to, a 128 Slice Toshiba Aquilion CT, 1.5 Tesla GE MRI, Vet GE LogIQ Ultrasound, 2 Digital Radiography Units, GE C-Arm Fluoroscopy, Laparoscopy Equipment, Shockwave Therapy, PRP, Cardiovascular Ultrasound, High Flow Oxygen Therapy, Endoscopy, and a Linear Accelerator. The hospital provides an exceptional environment for specialists seeking access to cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
Team
You will be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team consisting of 27 DVMs, supported by highly trained technicians and support staff within a fast-paced specialty and emergency environment. The practice maintains a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring veterinarians are fully supported in delivering high-quality patient care. The collaborative culture across the hospital encourages teamwork, communication, education, and shared clinical excellence, creating an environment focused on providing seamless and compassionate care to both patients and clients while supporting continued professional development across all departments.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
